A simple way to make as many green beans as you want.
Ingredients
- Green beans
- Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Water, for boiling
Instructions
- Cut end off of green beans. Rinse well and discard any damaged or broken pieces.
- Boil green beans in a large pot of water until fork tender, ~5-7 minutes. Drain well and pat dry.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium (5) heat. Once hot, add green beans and coat well in oil. Add spices, and mix well again.
- Saute until heated through, ~4-5 minutes. Serve.
Notes
If I will be serving the green beans later, I usually store them in the fridge after boiling them. This allows them to be fresh once I sauté them. This recipe is a general template that can be scaled up or down depending on how many servings you want to make.
