Oven-baked rice

Total Time: 52 minutes

The quickest and simplest way to make a large amount of rice without extra kitchen equipment.

Ingredients

  • 3 c. jasmine rice
  • 4 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. oil

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a 13″ x 9″ glass baking dish.
  3. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, remove aluminum foil, and fluff with a fork.

Notes

This recipe can be scaled down and put in a smaller baking dish. For every 1 cup of rice, add 1 1/2 c. boiling water.
