An easy way to make a marinara sauce in the Instant Pot.
Ingredients
- 2 tsp. oil
- 1/2 onion
- 1 large can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. cilantro
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
Instructions
- Finely dice onion in a food processor.
- Heat instant pot to sauté on high. Once hot, add oil. Sauté onion until translucent.
- Add remaining ingredients besides tomato paste and stir to combine. Dollop tomato paste on top.
- Pressure cook for 40 minutes, then natural release.
