Roast and potatoes

Roast

Yield: 6-8 servings

A hearty dinner perfect for cold weather.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. chuck roast
  • 5 russet potatoes
  • 1/2 bag? baby carrots
  • Large can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup water

Seasonings

  • Lawry’s
  • Nature’s season
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Season roast and set aside.
  2. Put potatoes and carrots on the bottom of a crock pot. Place roast on top.
  3. Pour soup on top, then pour in water.
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours.

Notes

Serve with mac n cheese, cornbread, and/or green beans.
