Stuffed shells

A fun way to change up spaghetti and meatballs.
Ingredients
- 1/2 box. large shells (~22 shells)
- 2 cups spaghetti sauce
Filling
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
Instructions
- Make spaghetti sauce, if needed. Set aside.
- Boil shells for 9-10 minutes, stirring occasionally so they don’t stick to the bottom of the pot. Once done, drain and run under cold water until no longer warm. Set aside.
- Pour 1/4 cup of sauce in the bottom of a 9”x 13” baking dish and spread evenly. Set aside.
- Mix filling ingredients. Fill each shell with 1 tablespoon of filling. Place in an even layer in baking dish.
- Pour remaining spaghetti sauce over top of stuffed shells, covering as much exposed noodle edges as possible.
- Cover pan with tin foil and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
