Our favorite way to cooks steaks at home on a cast iron skillet.
Ingredients
- Ribeye steaks
Instructions
- Let steaks come to room temperature if previously refrigerated.
- Preheat cast iron skillet over medium-low heat for at least 5 minutes until hot.
- Season both sides of steak liberally with salt and white pepper.
- Cook over medium (5) heat until desired inside reached, ~6-7 minutes. Use splatter screen to cover.
Notes
Do not trim the fat as this is what gives the steaks flavor.
