A rich chicken dish full of flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 6 slices of bacon
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 3 cups broth or water
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3 Tbsp. sundried tomatoes
Flour mixture
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp. Nature’s season
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Instructions
- Cut bacon into 1/2” pieces. Cook bacon and set aside.
- Mix flour mixture ingredients. Cut chicken breasts in half horizontally then cover in flour mixture.
- Add oil to skillet with bacon fat and heat over medium (5). Add chicken and cook on each side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Add flour and stir into oil. Cook until light brown.
- Whisk in broth/water and milk slowly. Once gravy consistency, add bacon and sundried tomatoes and stir.
- Add chicken back, then cover. Cook over medium-low (3) for 10-15 minutes, until chicken is fully cooked through.
