A homemade version of a storebought classic.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 box (8 oz.) medium shells
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 1 heaping Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Cook shells until al dente drain set aside. 
  2. Cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain set aside. 
  3. Sauté onion, and bell pepper until soft. Add in tomato paste, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, and spices. 
  4. Stir until combined. Adding milk and broth, then shells and beef. Cook for 5-10 minutes until fully combined.
