Ground beef goulash

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 bell pepper (green or red)
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1-14 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1-14 oz. can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 1 habanero
- 2 bay leaves
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Seasonings
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. pepper
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Dice onion and bell pepper. Mince garlic. Drain and rinse beans. Set all aside.
- Add ground beef, onion, and bell pepper to a pot. Cook until ground beef is no longer pink. Drain if needed.
- Add garlic and all seasonings and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and adjust to taste.
- Bring to a boil, then lower heat to medium-low (3). Cover and simmer for 13-15 minutes, until pasta is fully cooked.
