A spicy and sweet chicken dinner that is super addicting.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp. oil
- 10-12 chicken thighs
Coating
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Sauce
- 1/3 cup Frank’s red hot buffalo sauce
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 1/2-2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 5 cloves of garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup water, as needed
Instructions
- Combine coating ingredients in a bowl. Add chicken pieces and flip several times to coat.
- Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high (7) heat. Add chicken pieces in batches and cook until both sides begin to char.
- Add chicken to a large pot along with remaining ingredients. Start with 1/2 cup water and as more, as needed.
- Bring sauce to a boil. Allow to simmer over medium-low (3) heat until chicken is fully cooked, ~15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add enough water to prevent chicken from sticking but not too much to make it watery.
Notes
Serve over rice with a side of vegetables.
