Rice krispie treats

An improved version of a classic.
Ingredients
- 1 stick (4 oz.) butter
- 1-10 oz. bag of mini marshmallows
- 5 cups Rice Krispies
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Measure Rice Krispies into a large bowl. Set aside.
- Brown butter in a large pot. Remove from heat and stir in marshmallows, vanilla, and salt. Mix until marshmallows are melted and mixture is fully combined.
- Pour marshmallow mixture over Rice Krispies and stir until combined.
- Gently press mixture into a greased 8”x8” baking dish. Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute the butter for 3 Tbsp. of coconut oil and 2 tsp. coconut milk powder.
