Nature valley granola bar copycat

A sweet, crunchy honey and oat granola bar very similar to the storebought version.
Ingredients
Wet ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 tsp. amaretto
- 3/4 tsp. brown sugar
Dry ingredients
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup puffed rice
- 1 Tbsp. rice flour
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Line a 8” x 4” loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Add honey and oil to a heatproof bowl, then put in the oven for ~5 minutes while oven preheats.
- In the meantime, stir dry ingredients together.
- Remove honey/oil mixture from oven and stir in amaretto and brown sugar. Mix into dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
- Pour mixture into lined baking sheet and press down well. Bake for 18 minutes or until top is deeply golden all over, pressing down again at least once during baking time.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cut into bars.
