A great fruit-centered dish, whether eaten for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Apples

  • 5-6 medium apples
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. amaretto

Crumble

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 3 Tbsp. gluten-free flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all apple ingredients in an 8”x8” baking dish.
  2. Mix crumble ingredients in a separate bowl. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes until top is golden.

Notes

If using a 9×13 baking dish, double the recipe.

Different mixes of fresh or frozen fruits can be used, including pears, peaches, blueberries, raspberries, and/or strawberries.
