A sticky, rich combination of chocolate lava cake and a brownie that is sure to please.
Ingredients
Bottom layer
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. instant coffee
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup + 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. coconut oil
Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Mix flour, cocoa powder, instant coffee, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add in milk, sugar, and coconut oil and stir until combined.
- Spread batter evenly into a 9”x5” bread pan.
- In a seperate bowl, mix the cocoa powder and sugar for the sauce. Sprinkle evenly over the bottom layer.
- Pour boiling water on top of everything, making sure every place is covered but it is not being mixed.
- Bake at 350°F for 33-35 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
