Dairy-free frosting

A dairy-free “butter”cream that is just as tasty as the original version.
Ingredients
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) vegan butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar, unsifted
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Add vegan butter to a stand mixer. Beat with a whisk attachment on medium (4-5) speed for 1 minute.
- Add vanilla and salt, along with powdered sugar in 1/2 cup increments, incorporating between each one.
- Once all powdered sugar has been added, beat frosting for another minute on medium (5) speed.
