A homemade version of a storebought classic.
Ingredients
- 1/2 box (8 oz.) medium shells
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 green bell pepper
- 1 heaping Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Cook shells until al dente drain set aside.
- Cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain set aside.
- Sauté onion, and bell pepper until soft. Add in tomato paste, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, and spices.
- Stir until combined. Adding milk and broth, then shells and beef. Cook for 5-10 minutes until fully combined.
