A delicious, filling way to use up stale leftover croissants.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. amaretto
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 5 medium leftover croissants, cubed
  • 2 Tbsp. sliced almonds (optional)
  • Sprinkle of sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, brown sugar, amaretto, vanilla, and cinnamon. Carefully fold in croissant pieces until they all have been hydrated.
  2. Pour mixture into a 8” x 4” baking dish, gently pressing the top flat. Sprinkle sliced almonds and sugar on top.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 22-28 minutes until set, covering with foil after 20 minutes.
