Sweet tea
Yield:
1/2 gallon
A moderately sweet tea that is perfect for summertime.
Ingredients
- 1/2 gallon (8 cups) water, divided
- 8 black tea bags
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add in tea bags.
- Allow to steep for 5 minutes, then remove tea bags.
- Stir in sugar until fully dissolved.
- Pour tea base into a 1/2 gallon container. Top with 5 more cups of water and stir.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until cold.
