Tomato fufu

A beautiful red fufu that is super flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 1-15 oz. can of tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup fufu flour

Instructions

  1. Add tomato and 3/4 cup of water to a pot. Bring to a boil over medium (5) heat.
  2. Stir in fufu flour in batches, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Press fufu against sides of pot for a couple minutes until smooth.
  3. Pour remaining 1/4 cup of water over fufu, turn heat to low (2), and cover. Allow to steam for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove lid and stir water into fufu. Press fufu against sides of pot for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
