Cake board

Below is the cake board I used for the cake at my daughter’s first birthday party. I bought a package of 6 cake boards from Hobby Lobby that were grease proof, along with a 19”x14” cake box for them to fit in. I then glued 3 of them together using rubber cement to make a sturdy base. For finishing touches, I used rubber cement to add 1/4” thick ribbon around perimeter to cover up exposed cardboard edges. The end result was sturdy and looked nice. I would do it like this again in the future.
