Comment policy

Here at JenaeLawson.com, I am all about your feedback. I am more than happy to see what you have to say, and encourage you to let me know how you feel about what I have to say. However, there are some things that aren’t welcome here, including, but not limited to:

  • Comments including profanity, bad language, or any negative, inappropriate, offensive words and/or content.
  • Comments that harass, abuse, attack, threaten, or otherwise intimidate other commenters.
  • Anything that is promotional in nature or resembles spam. Links are more than welcome, as long as they are relevant to the post.

Moral of the story: if you wouldn’t say it in person, please don’t type it here. I want this to be a place where we can all share our experiences and learn from each other, so please please please be kind!

When visitors leave comments on the site, data is collected from the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

I, the owner of this website, reserve the right to remove or edit any comment that violates any of these points or is otherwise deemed by me to be inappropriate, without prior or express warning. This policy is subject to change at any time.

If you have a question or concern, please contact me and I will get back to you directly.
