A delightfully flavorful way to cook apples.
Ingredients
- 2 crisp apples
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 1/2 Tbsp. ghee
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Scant 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Peel, core, and thinly slice apples.
- Add coconut oil and ghee to a saucepan and heat over medium-low (3). Add apples and cook until softened, ~5 minutes.
- Add sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Continue cooking until apples are soft, ~10 minutes.
